Dear TRUE Members:
Your Negotiations Team reached a Tentative Agreement with TRUSD for Article 14 (Salary) and Article 15 (Benefits) for the 2013-2014 school year.   Please see below link, with the clarification that it only shows the salary schedule for core certificated staff, but we have already requested from the District the rest of the salary schedules showing the new increase; as soon as they are available, we will send them out.
We have been in consultation with CTA during this process and the total compensation in this package is consistent with their recommendations.
Look for the Tentative Agreement ratification vote timeline, which will come out soon.
We are now bargaining language for the 3-year Contract (July 1, 2014 – June 30, 2017) which also includes salary and benefits for 2014-2015. There is increased funding for 2014-2015 so we expect to negotiate another salary/benefits increase. Our mutual (TRUE and TRUSD) goal is to complete negotiation of the 3-year Contract before the end of this school year, so any increase will be applied immediately to next school year’s salary.
