To address the issue of filling vacancies for positions deemed “hard-to-fill”, the parties agree to allow for the employment of applicants who are pursuing an “Alternative Route to Certification” (Intern Programs) as defined and issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
Hard-to-fill under this agreement is defined as posting for the position a minimum of two (2) separate postings and failing to secure a suitable and fully prepared candidate as defined by
the CTC.
This agreement will sunset on June 30,2017.
