In looking forward to the new school year, TRUE wants to remind you about turning in units. If you have units that you want to turn in to move over on the salary schedule all units and prior approvals must be completed no later than September 1st. All official sealed transcripts must be turned into HR no later than October 1st in order to be retroactive to July 1st. (Article 13.4)
If you are completing a Masters or Doctorate Program, your completion date must be no later than September 1st as stated on your official transcript. It is TRUE’s recommendation that when ordering your transcripts, you order one for yourself so you can make sure everything is on it that needs to be. Now that most colleges send transcripts electronically, the process takes less time and is less costly. Just a reminder that it is not HR’s responsibility to make sure your transcripts are complete for salary advancement.
